At Cinder Bella Studios, we believe that everyone has a creative spark within them waiting to be ignited. That's why we started offering wood-burning and char-cuterie classes. Our passion for creating beautiful and unique pieces of art is contagious, and we love sharing it with others. We believe that when you take one of our classes, you'll not only learn a new skill, but you'll also have a fun and unforgettable experience.

Ray (Rachel) Smith
Hey there, I'm Ray, the owner/founder and main instructor of Cinder Bella Studios! 🔥 My spark for wood burning was lit 7 years ago and has since grown into a full-blown blaze. When I'm not chasing after my 3-year-old daughter Piper, you can find me creating custom wood burned art, teaching pyrography workshops, or dreaming up new ideas for the studio with my husband, Hunter.

After 7 years of loving wood burning, I decided it was time to open Cinder Bella Studios and share my pyro passion with the community on a larger scale. My goal is to rekindle hearts everywhere for the forgotten art of wood burning!
I can't wait for you to join me on this adventure - whether it's in a beginner workshop, one of our various classes or commissioning me to do a custom piece of art. When you join our Cinder Bella Studios crew, you'll find art, community, encouragement...and a ton of cheesy fire puns. ;)

Hello friends, I'm Pattie - one of Cinder Bella's pyro instructors! When I'm not teaching wood burning classes in my home state of Illinois, you can find me doing community work in the PEO organization.

I've been teaching wood burning for a couple years now and I find so much joy in guiding others as they create beautiful pieces of art. There's nothing better than seeing that spark (pun intended) in my students' eyes when their visions come to life on wood!
