Get into the holiday spirit with a festive twist on woodburning! In this special workshop, you’ll learn how to use a pyrography pen to permanently etch cheerful holiday designs into wood slice ornaments. From simple snowflakes and Christmas trees to personalized lettering, we’ll guide you through the basics of shading and linework so you can create keepsakes that are uniquely yours. By the end of class, you’ll head home with handmade ornaments that are ready to hang on your tree or gift to someone special.

What to Expect

The day of your class, arrive 10 min early to mingle and have time to find your seat.

Learn how to put together a great charcuterie board with multiple techniques and strategies.

Build your own charcuterie to-go box that is packed full of yummy treats for you to snack on during the class.

Pick out a charcuterie board from our selection of boards and go to our design table to look through our books of hundreds of designs (custom designs available if customization form is filled out at booking). Designs have been chosen to encompass various techniques of wood burning.

Our instructors will guide you step by step with how to carbon trace your designs and the basics of pyrography. Don't worry! Practice pieces are provided so that you won't have to jump into it blindly.

Let our instructors know when you are done and they will come by to help clean up your masterpieces, help you with the finishing touches, and help you coat your board in a food safe mineral oil.

Lastly, show off your art and release that inner pyro!
